Meeting & Pricing
The choir meets on Monday evenings between 7 and 8.30 pm at Daventry Methodist Church.
Currently, members pay half termly at £5 a session. Music and recordings are provided free of charge.
Our membership support policy aims to provide financial support if members are experiencing difficult times.
Recruitment Policy
We have a recruitment policy which describes how members may join. We offer all newcomers a free taster session so they can experience a rehearsal and get to meet the group. We provide all musical scores and recordings to help singers learn their parts. The choir is open to all as long as they can sing in tune and contribute to the balance of parts.
We run regular sessions where people can come and join us for an informal fun evening to meet us and enjoy the music.
Taster Session
New Singers Welcome!
We meet on Monday evening’s at 7.00 pm at Daventry Methodist Church and sing a wide range of songs, including popular, folk, and classical scores usually in 3 or 4 parts. Our evening sessions are only on Monday’s during the local school term and at the start of each new term we will be learning new songs and some from our previous repertoire leading up to our Christmas/Summer Concert. We are keen to recruit new singers so if this interests you why not join us as our guests for a taster session. This offers you the opportunity to see if you would like to join our welcoming choir.
