Christmas Concert

  • Weedon Bec Church - December 2024

What a night!! The Knightley Singers delivered a fantastic Christmas concert at St Peter and St Paul church at Weedon Bec.

The concert was part of the Christmas tree Festival held  over the weekend and the church looked wonderful. Full of lights, colour and the great smell of 30 Christmas trees.

The choir lead by our Director of Music Helen Swift, was joined by Jonathan French at the piano and organ and John Bickerdike on trumpet. We sang a range of Christmas favourites with beautiful soloists and joyful singing from the audience. The church was full and everyone enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies. A great welcome to the Christmas festivities.

Summer Concert

  • Everdon Church - July 2024

Wow! The Knightley Singers had a wonderful concert at Everdon church this month.

It was a fabulous evening led by our talented  musical director , Helen Swift and accompanied by Jonathan French ( pianist), John Bickerdike ( trumpet) and Chris Seddon ( double bass).

The choir offered a range of songs from the stage and screen, singing with enthusiasm and skill. The musicians played well loved scores from stage and screen and engaged the audience with a musical quiz. Wine and canapés were served in the interval which lubricated the voices of all as we sang several songs together. It was a really joyful evening. Thanks to all and our generous audience.
